I am kind of a geek. I am really looking forward to the Lost premiere tonight. I read a review in the USA Today that I liked:
http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/reviews/2009-01-20-lost_N.htmI agree with this quote,"
Lost is going to be complicated no matter what; it's your choice as to whether you enjoy the complications or let them drive you nuts."
I, personally, am along for the ride. I trust the writers to take me on a fantastic journey (even if it doesn't make sense.) I love this show.

You and me both baby! We love this show and couldn't wait for it to come back this season. I love that you don't always know what is going on. That is what you call some good writing! :)
EVERY season I want to get into it and have that fun thing to look forward to...but I keep putting it off until I have several months of nothing whatsoever to do so I can watch passed seasons.
We just started catching up on all the LOST seasons. I am addicted. I still need to watch the second half of the last season. Rest assured my DVR is set, that way when I'm ready I can watch without commercials.
So Becky are you a Sawyer or Jack fan? :)
As much as I like to think I can "enjoy the complications", they usually drive me nuts! But, I'm an addict, and I continue to come back for more!!!
Jack.
Hands down.
Sawyer is funny, sweet at times, and amazing to look at but I'll still take Jack. (Without giving anything away,Amanda, I'll just say that I am guessing that the writers will continue to make Sawyer more heroic and Jack more flawed. I am curious to see who Kate ends up with...)
I don't really watch Lost, but I've heard it's a must see, and so is in my que of shows to download to my Zune.
BTW, your photos of NC make me SO homesick! I love that city! Good memories:).
I'm right there with ya honey! I've been a believer from beginning and even though there are times I can't figure out what's up or down, I too am along for the crazy ride. How could we abandon Jack in his, obviously, terrible time of need. Or give up on the tragic love triangle between Kate, Jack, and Sawyer. There's just too many reasons to keep up with the obsession, in my obsessed opinion.
Love you cutie! I too am sorry we didn't connect when I was up in the Bay Area. It was a super quick trip, spent mostly at the hospital. I'll catch you next time. Or... you could always come down for a visit to the desert, anytime?
Becky,
I have to agree, although Sawyer is very easy on the eyes :)
We only got through season two before my husband refused to go any further because he was convinced the writers were making it all up as they went along. He objected to their capitalistic approach - riding the wave of public enthusiasm/cash by stretching the plotlines until they inevitably give out - at which point he thinks it'll all be cancelled and we'll never get any answers. Such a cynic!
Daish, I hope you check this posting out. The writers were all over the place in season 2, but you have to continue to season 3. It gets back on track. The writers now have a 7 year storyline in place, so the ending is clear to them. (Although, it certainly isn't always clear to those watching.) Don't give up yet.
