Sunshine on my shoulders

How is it that a bit of sun makes everything better? This morning I was driving from my parents' home to my home in the bay area. I haven't been uber excited for a new year, but I think that maybe it was all that winter weather getting me down. The drive along 80 was perfect. I had the sun on my face, no traffic, and sweet tunes. Before I knew it, I was grinning like a fool, all by myself, in my car. Life is good and my life is exceptionally good. "Sunshine on my shoulders make me happy...." (FYI: Although this a fine tune, it wasn't the sweet music I was listening to today. It doesn't matter. Sing it to me, John.)

I miss you Becky!

Do you remember cutting class (or Bruin Hour) and going to your house to watch Sting videos? good times.

I so wish that we had had some good sun on our drive home. Snow storms after snow storms. I miss California.

We were just talking about how living in WA might not be so great because of all the clouds and rain. There really IS something about a bit of sunshine that makes a world of difference. :) I'm glad you had a good holiday.

Hello new picture! [my guess is a sleeping compartment on a train] And the sunshine is not only on your shoulders, but on your face, in your face, and glowing right out of your face. You are sunshine.
