Once, actually TWICE, in a lifetime experience

Yesterday I went skydiving with a group of friends. This was my second dive at Skydive Monterey Bay. (The first time was about 8 years ago.) It was an awesome experience then and now. I loved it all. It was my second time with Raf as my divemaster too. He has jumped over 12,000 times. Crazy!
We jumped at an altitude of 18,000 feet. That's the highest an inexperienced person can go tandem. I think.
The pictures prove just how much I loved jump #2. I also have the 6 minute video of the jump - if you have the time.

that's INSANE. i don't know how you can be so fearless or why you're not wearing a helmet but man, what an amazing experience.

thrills and chills - thrills for you, CHILLS for me! Your radiantly happy face and the stunning perspectives made the stills great. 6 minutes of exciting video flew by. There were only two horrible moments:
where you JUMP OUT OF A PLANE! and where you say, "Next time I might..."!!!!!

Crazy brave girl! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself...hopefully enough for both of us, because I have no desire to ever do that!
Love you cutie!

Are you KIDDING me?!?!?! You are so far beyond brave (and a little crazy if you ask me)! I guess all those years in the air help mitigate the fear the rest of us have of JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE AT 18,000 feet. You don't even start "securing the cabin for landing" at that elevation. Yikes. I love you and am glad you made it down safe and sound.

okay beck, let's repeat my family motto, "safety first", and end that wonderful experience on a high note and promise me never to do it again. love you.

I had no idea that you were such a little dare devil! You do an amazing job of hiding that fact! So glad that you were able to have such a great experience though. I've considered it a couple of times but just can't wrap my head around jumping out of a perfectly good plane. LOL. :) You continue to amaze me Becky. Miss you.

WOW! Some may ask 'why climb mountains? why dive into the sea?why free fall thousands of feet?' Well, I get the first two, sky diving....no way not for me!
Way to go Becky, You are a brave soul. Mountaineers live by the creed 'To Summitt is optional... Getting back down is MANDATORY'. Always be Safe... We want you back down, safe and sound! You are Amazing, We Love You!

WOW WOW WOW! You are amazing, girl! What haven't you done?
I've always wondered what it's like to sky dive, but then I realize I might throw up and I don't want to find out what that's like at however-many-thousand feet. :)
You are awesome, Beck!
